Spring Community Carnival Details!
Saturday March 24th 10am - 3pm.

We have numerous events for all ages:

For the adults, there will be local Vendors selling art, crafts and other products, as well as various party people booths to shop at. Non-profit and city services informational booths will also be available.
We plan to have free door prizes, competition prizes, and a raffle to benefit Villa de Paz Recreation Association.

More fun activities include: a chili cook-off and other food for sale, Free use of Tennis, Volleyball, Basketball, Horseshoes, and Tether ball courts (a limited number of rackets, balls, etc. will be available for use).  Live music, a DJ, and open mic performance opportunities are also planned.  Local performers can sign up to perform at info@villadepazrecreation.org.

Family friendly events scheduled for the day include:
Free Swimming (children under 18 must be accompanied by adult), Door prizes, Children’s activities, and a Swing set.  There will be free demonstrations of dance, martial arts and more,  We also plan to have free carnival type games and other activities and games for a reasonable cost.

Chili cook-off Details
: It is free to enter your homemade chili! Bring a crock-pot full of your delicious chili.  Votes will be sold for $2 each.  1st, 2nd & 3rd place cooks share half of the kitty with the remainder going to VdPRA.

The primary purpose of this Carnival is to enjoy a fun event with our neighbors! It is sponsored by three of the neighborhood HOAs, and supported by VdP Blockwatch, and PNP.  We are also hoping to raise a little money to make some needed repairs and upgrades at VdPRA, and replace some items that have been destroyed by vandalism.  Please join us! Lets get the community involved, and keep us and our children active.

We are still in the planning stages and would love your participation, input, and/or assistance.  Please contact us at info@villadepazrecreation.org to get involved!  See you there!
