There are two classes of membership:  Villa de Paz Homeowner's Association members and Villa de Paz Recreation Association Members.  HOA members pay a lower rate, but must live in the Villa de Paz neighborhood, and must renew every year.  Rec Assoc members may live outside of Villa de Paz, and may choose whether to join or not each year.

Purpose

The purpose of our Association is to provide a safe and well maintained recreation area with a wide variety of recreational opportunities for all ages.
Our saltwater swimming pool ranges from 3 to 8 feet deep, with a wading pool nearby.

Our two, regulation size,
surfaced tennis courts feature free lights, as do the basketball and volleyball courts.

Tetherball, horseshoes, and p
layground areas complement a ramada with picnic tables and grills that can be reserved for parties or gatherings.
Rules

1.  This is a nonprofit corporation operated for the benefit of members who have paid their membership fee.
Anyone who would like to may purchase a membership to the Rec Assoc.  Only residents of Villa de Paz who are not members of another HOA may join the HOA.

2 HOA Annual membership fee for the 2008 season is $100, Jan. 1, 2008 - Dec. 31, 2008.

Recreation Association Annual membership fee for the 2008-2009 season, May 1, 2008 - April 30, 2009, is $175 for a full family membership.  A restricted single membership is available for $100 (see item #7).  The tennis only membership is $60 (see item #6).  these fees are non-refundable but are transferable to a new resident if the member moves from the area.  Members remitting next year's fees by January 31, 2008 will receive a $25 discount.  Members may receive $10 off their next renewal for each year membership they recruit.

3. Please observe the following safety and courtesy rules:
  •  Exercise reasonable judgment and care for our facility.  Keep skateboards, roller skates/blades and bicycles off courts and out of pool areas.

  • Members have 24-hour access to the facility.  Please observe quiet time between 10 pm and 8 am.
  • There is no charge to bring fewer than 25 guests; however members are discouraged from bringing the same guests more often than once per month.  Please encourage these people to join.  Please reserve the ramada when bringing a group, so that we do not have two groups at once.
  • No "ultra" paper diapers. (The ultra beads react with the chlorine.)  Please provide appropriate attire for infants (swim diapers or cloth with plastic pants).
  • Please keep glass bottles and containers off the property.  Food, beverages other than water, gum and cigarettes should be kept out of the pool area.
  • Animals are not permitted within the fenced areas, except Seeing Eye or other service animals.  Service animals are not permitted in the pools.
4. Members and their guests use this facility at their own risk.  There is no security or lifeguard on duty.

7. Restricted Single memberships are restricted to one guest at a
time unless arrangements are made with the reservation coordinator.  Singles may also purchase a full membership if they so desire.

8.  Tennis only memberships are authorized to use only the tennis courts.  They are limited to one court (2-4 players) unless reservations have been made.

9.  Reservations  Please reserve the ramada if you are planning to have a group at the pool so that we can post it and coordinate crowds.  Reservations are made on a "first-come; first-served" basis.  reserved groups have prioritiy use of the ramamda and courts.  All events with 25 or more guests will be charged a usage fee of $25.  For reservations please call or email Donna White at 877-9179 or dlwhite@futureone.com

10 Alcohol  To serve alcohol you must reserve the ramada and pay a $25 party fee, a $100 alcohol fee, and a $100 deposit.  Please observe the no glass requirement.
